Already on my forth thing! Sat with Gonzo and watched the 7 1/2 habits. I've decided the hardest habit for me is #2 - Accepting Responsiblity for my own Learning. I love to learn new things but it's hard to find the time and energy to learn after all day teaching.
The two easier habits for me are - Have confidence in yourself as a competent and effective learner and Create your own learning toolbox. Once I find the time and get started it is easy to get motivated. Often times, because of what I teach, I am at the front of the learning curve trying to figure things out before most other people have the technology. Because of this, I often have to figure out the shortcuts and processes for myself and create my own tools. They just haven't gotten there yet. It is a very frustrating and tiring place to be sometimes.
This is a nice experience to be able to have someone giving me the time to learn and to be working on this with other people!
